The Fullonica of Stephanus, one of the laundries in Pompeii, with large masonry tanks to rinse fabrics fed by a continuous flow of water. The textiles were washed in stone basins by trampling them after soaking in a liquid containing urine.

Upstairs were terraces for drying and brushing clothes after washing. The rooms were decorated in the Fourth Pompeian Style with red panels and architectural motifs.

폼페이의 세탁소 중 하나인 이곳 스테파누스의 풀로니카Fullonica of Stephanus에는 끊임없이 흐르는 물로 옷감을 헹굴 수 있는 대형 석조 탱크masonry tanks가 있었다.

옷감은 소변이 담긴 액체에 담근 후 석조stone basins에서 밟아 세탁했다.

위층에는 세탁 후 옷을 말리고 솔질할 수 있는 테라스가 있었다.

방들은 붉은색 패널과 건축 모티프를 사용해 폼페이 제4양식으로 장식했다.
