Anina Tomb
mid-3rd century BC

This is the tomb of the aristocratic Anina family from Tarquinia.
The tomb was commissioned by the founder of the gens, Larth Anina, who had the figures of two Etruscan demons painted on either side of the entrance door leading inside the tomb:
Charun armed with a hammer and Vanth holding a torch that she uses to brighten the path of the souls towards the afterlife.

아니나 무덤
기원전 3세기 중반

타르퀴니아 출신 에트루리아 귀족 아니나 가문 무덤이다.

이 무덤은 가문 시조인 라르트 아니나Larth Anina 의뢰로 만들었다.

무덤 안으로 이어지는 입구 문 양쪽에 두 에트루리아 악마 형상을 그렸다.
카룬Charun은 망치를 들고 있으며, 반트Vant는 h영혼들이 저승으로 가는 길을 밝히는 데 사용하는 횃불을 든 모습이다.

저 폼새 보면 딱 훗날 불교에서 차용하는 금강역사상이며 그것을 확대한 사천왕상이다.

저들을 악마라 하지만, 문신門神이다. 험악할수록 힘이 쎄다 생각해서 저런 모습으로 그린다.
